One problem I’ve noticed observing YouTube creators:

They concentrate only on one platform, preventing them from creating deeper connections. Thus limit a way to raise income, and make friends.

The solution is the Content Synergy:

I have used YouTube since 2011, and it’s been one of my favorite social media so far.

People from all industries, all over the world post videos, teach, share opinions and experiences. Its content is so invaluable!

But for 13 years I barely commented on any video. And when I did, I didn’t get a reply anyway.

YouTube is limited to comments.

That’s why every YouTuber should build a community elsewhere but YouTube.

That’s why I believe X and Threads's future is bright. It’s an engine for building a community, not just the audience.

  • Threads and tweets spark meaningful conversations

  • Repost and Quote connect you with other creators

  • DM makes it possible to sell products directly

Plus if you’re a YouTube creator, you have a great boost. You have a huge library of content, that can be repurposed for tweets and threads.

That’s what I call the Content Synergy:

Evergreen to short-form

Your YouTube library is the garden of evergreen content.

If you have a video performing especially well on YouTube, you can keep the good vibes and engagement going for longer by repurposing it for tweets and threads on X.

This strategy will foster deeper relationships with your audience. As a result, you will be able to build and nurture a strong community of fans who are more engaged and loyal.

Both ways pipe

The audience from YouTube will eventually find your X account. The same goes for X users, who eventually find your YouTube channel.

Short-form content leads to long-form, and long-form leads to short-form creating a perpetual motion machine for building audience, community, and later income.

Like ebbs and flows, X and YouTube can work together to create something beautiful.

I learned from YouTube for my entire life. I found so many great people on X. I see how many authentic people are on Threads. And I don’t see any obstacles to linking them and creating a network of content, audience, and community.

We live in the age of communications, after all.
